ABC's for Healthy Hair!

Let's learn our ABC's for healthy hair


We know that the consumption of fruits and veggies are beneficial to our health as well as for our beautiful curls. Let's look specifically at the benefits of avocados, bananas and cucumbers for lovely locks.



AVOCADOS are rich in protein, vitamin A, B6, D, E, magnesium, folic acid, copper and iron which promotes hair growth. They also add shine and luster as well as prevent hair loss.



BANANAS are full of potassium, fiber, iron and vitamin B6/B12.  Keeps hair hydrated and healthy. When used on a regular basis, bananas increase moisture, soothe dry/itchy scalp and reduce frizziness.


CUCUMBERS are high in silica, sulfur, vitamin A, C, potassium, manganese, magnesium and chlorophyll.   Silica and sulfur are awesome for hair growth and  vitality.





Combine these big three by blending (in blender for smooth texture and easy application to hair and to reduce chunks being left in hair which is a beast to remove) 1/2 avocado, 1 small banana and 1 juiced cucumber.

Apply mask to hair for 1 hour or even overnight in a plastic shower cap or a handy plastic grocery bag for a luxurious protein treatment.
